Camp theme: Hội Nghị Diên Hồng
Camp date: August 8 - 10, 2008

The Mongolian Kublai Khan has established an empire that stretched from the far reaches of China to the interior of Europe. A few kingdoms left unconquered to the south of China are left to his son's responsibility. How did Dai Viet, present day northern Vietnam, manage to standup against an undefeated enemy almost 200 times its size? How did the Tran Dynasty deal with the many great internal conflicts to lead the Vietnamese people to three consecutive glorious victories? More importantly, what lessons can be drawn from the Dien Hong Conference to help us overcome the challenges facing our family, community, homeland and society?

You are cordially invited to the Ket Doan Camp VII Hoi Nghi Dien Hong to discover the lessons and relive the great legacies left behind by our ancestors from more than eight centuries ago. As always, our camps are filled with tons of fun games accompanied by wonderful networking opportunities. In addition, you will also have the chance to attend many terrific workshops: Vietnamese Poetry, Photography, Hoa`ng Sa & Truo`ng Sa Conflicts, Human Trafficking, Vietnam History (1225-1400), Public Speaking, Financial Management, Job Interview Success… These, along with many other activities, will give you a new appreciation for the Vietnamese culture through the newly acquired knowledge of our history and heritage.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
